MONKEY MAJIK had released its 7th original studio album "Somewhere Out There", largely built around their emotion and experience of the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake and Tsunami that hit their hometown one year ago. Since the disaster, they've been working hard with the community to rebuild through volunteer work, and only in recent months have they picked up their musical work, releasing two moving singles in the process. Both will be recorded in this upcoming album, and one of which has just had an album version music video unveiled this week, for the track "Headlight", which you can watch below.

The album will be available as a CD and CD+DVD option, including 11 tracks and live footage from their 2010 tour celebrating the band's 10th anniversary. It's been around 13 months since their previous album and I'm absolutely thrilled to hear the new material, sure to be filled with a lot of feeling after what's bound to have been a year of much change. ボランティア仲間と活動し僕よりも酷い被害を受けた家族の方たちと出会い。

The love and hardship ofthe Japanese is undeniably strong.
I witnessed a miracle, andI am still seeing it today at the volunteer centres and evacuation centres allover Northern Japan.
Being at the heart of thedisaster, losing my home, and being invited into a new one has been a lifechanging experience.Working together withvolunteers, and meeting families who are suffering worse than I.
